Step 1: Clean Deep – Large pores and excess oil go hand in hand. Use a charcoal face wash to suck out all that extra oil to reduce inflammation in your pores !
Step 2: Wipe Smarter – Don’t over exfoliate! You can cause your pores to actually get larger by doing so! Instead use a toner two to three times a week with salicylic or glycolic acid to help wipe pores and shrink them down! My fav is the Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner !
Step 3: Get it Right, Get it Tight – The older you get, the less collagen you have which causes skin and pores to loosen up. Strengthen your skin and pores by applying a tightening serum daily!
Step 4: Protection from the Sun – Sun plays a huge role in how your pores look. UV rays tear up the collagen in your skin and causes pores to loosen. Use a SPF daily to protect your face from the harmful rays!
Step 5; Blur Blur Blur – Fake it till you make it with a pore minimizing primer. Reflectors mattify skin and fill in pores so they look smaller and smoother. Go for an oil free type to avoid clogging your already clean pores!
